This BBQ chicken pizza features a crisp crust topped with smoky barbecue sauce, shredded chicken, melted cheese, and red onions. Perfectly sweet, tangy, and satisfying.
1 pizza dough or 12-inch crust
⅓–½ cup barbecue sauce
1½ cups shredded cooked chicken
2 cups shredded mozzarella (or cheese blend)
½ small red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Optional Add-Ins:
Jalapeño slices
Smoked gouda or cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 475°F with pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
Roll out dough on parchment paper. Par-bake for 5 minutes if desired.
Toss chicken with 2–3 tbsp barbecue sauce.
Spread barbecue sauce over crust. Add half the cheese.
Top with chicken, red onion, and remaining cheese.
Bake 10–14 minutes until golden and bubbly.
