Creamy pasta tossed with smoky sausage, peppers, and Cajun spices for a bold, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

12 oz pasta
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, optional

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water; reserve 1 cup pasta water.

  • Brown sausage in olive oil and set aside.

  • Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened.

  • Add garlic and Cajun seasoning; stir briefly.

  • Add broth and simmer a few minutes.

  • Stir in cream and return sausage to pan.

  • Add pasta and toss, adjusting with pasta water.

  • Stir in Parmesan and serve warm.
