A creamy, one-skillet dish made with orzo, savory chicken sausage, garlic, Parmesan, and baby spinach. Comforting and packed with flavor—ready in under 30 minutes.
1 tbsp olive oil
12 oz cooked chicken sausage, sliced
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup uncooked orzo
2½ cups chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan
Salt and black pepper to taste
1–2 cups baby spinach
Fresh parsley for garnish
Brown sausage in olive oil, then set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in same pan until soft.
Add orzo, stir to coat, then pour in chicken broth.
Cover and simmer 10–12 mins, stirring occasionally.
Stir in cream and Parmesan; simmer until creamy.
Add sausage and spinach, stir until wilted.
Season, garnish, and serve hot.
Use fresh Parmesan for best texture. Add broth if sauce thickens during resting.
