A Southern-inspired breakfast pizza featuring fluffy biscuit crust, creamy sausage gravy, and melted cheese. A comfort food twist on two brunch classics.

Biscuit Crust:

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits or homemade biscuit dough

  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)

Sausage Gravy:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Toppings:

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar or cheese blend

  • Optional: scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, jalapeños, green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch pan.

  • Press biscuit dough into pan to form crust. Par-bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.

  • While baking, cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Add flour and stir 1–2 minutes.

  • Slowly add milk and stir until gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Spread gravy over biscuit crust. Top with cheese and optional toppings.

  • Bake an additional 10–12 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  • Rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve hot.

Notes
