A spicy, salty-sweet pizza topped with hot sausage, creamy feta, and a drizzle of honey. Bold, balanced, and unforgettable.
1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
8 oz hot Italian sausage
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tablespoon garlic olive oil (or regular olive oil + 1 clove garlic)
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2–3 tablespoons honey, warmed
Fresh basil or oregano, for garnish (optional)
Preheat oven to 475°F. Let pizza dough rest at room temp.
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain and set aside.
Stretch dough into a 12–14 inch round or rectangle. Place on parchment or a baking sheet.
Brush dough with garlic oil. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the surface.
Top with cooked sausage and crumbled feta. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
Remove from oven and drizzle with honey. Garnish with herbs if using. Slice and serve warm.
Use chicken sausage for a lighter option. Swap feta with goat cheese for a tangy twist. Add arugula or red onions for extra texture.
