A layered Mexican-style pizza with crisp tortillas, seasoned beef, beans, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

4 medium flour tortillas
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup refried beans
1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
½ cup tomato sauce or enchilada sauce
2 tbsp olive oil

Optional Toppings:
Diced tomatoes
Sliced green onions
Chopped cilantro
Black olives or jalapeños

Instructions

  • Crisp tortillas in oven brushed with olive oil.

  • Brown beef and season with taco seasoning.

  • Spread beans on one tortilla, top with beef and cheese.

  • Add second tortilla, spread sauce, and top with cheese.

  • Bake until cheese melts and bubbles.

  • Top with fresh ingredients, slice, and serve.

Notes
