This Tender Crock Pot Angel Chicken is an easy, creamy comfort food made with juicy chicken, Italian-seasoned cream sauce, and served over angel hair pasta. A weeknight dinner favorite.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 oz cream cheese, cubed
1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
¼ cup butter
½ cup chicken broth
12 oz angel hair pasta
Optional: parsley or Parmesan for garnish
In a saucepan, melt together soup, cream cheese, butter, broth, and dressing mix over low heat. Stir until smooth.
Place chicken in crock pot. Pour sauce over the top.
Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.
Shred or slice chicken and return to sauce.
Cook pasta separately according to package directions.
Serve creamy chicken over pasta. Garnish as desired.
Use thighs for a richer version. Add mushrooms or spinach to the sauce. Store leftovers in fridge for up to 4 days.
